Black wheels are definitly the way forwards. It's just ace having lighter sidewalls than the rims.

well im going to pay to get the welding done on this one and then after that when i have money, buy a welder and get practicing then get a new project and do my dream one

Wow, cool project. Think that after seeing yours, i might paint my rocker cover and calipers red.. jsut thought it might look abit over the top on a red mini tho :/ .. plus its a MG rocker cover.

Thanks, i dont think you can realy go over the top with red the reason being its my fav colour lol

haha, mines green... but green rocker cover an calipers is not the way to go on a red car though... im thinking of yellow to match the engine? bu tthen the enigne will all be yellow ... hmm lol.

Get your eyes on eBay frankie. I went the easy route and bought a gasless mig from Machine Mart, sort of wish I had bought a gas welder now though, might convert it.
