my girlfriend has a 1200 '71 K reg... bought it for £80... lol its a minter! to be honest, i think every mini owner secretly wants a beetle and every dub owner wants a mini...

Well due to lots of boring head over heart reasons, the beetle is now sold Made a tidy prfit though, so I'm happy. Ish

Well it was meant to turn into my "sensible" car, but the amount of work needed to get it so I could use it every day in all weathers with no hassle was pretty huge, and I have no time. So I've bought a BMW 318 for £500 with MOT and TAX. Reliable and safe, but boring as hell!

i see what you mean. thats why i like minis. yes they arent giong to be super safe in a crash, and they arent always reliable. but they have character and you can make them your own, they arent peices of mass produced plastic boring tat like modern cars.Well it was meant to turn into my "sensible" car, but the amount of work needed to get it so I could use it every day in all weathers with no hassle was pretty huge, and I have no time.
