Now heres where I am with the car..... grille is on with the grille buttons, front bumper is on, front fogs and brackets are on, hood is set up with the pins and hooks, wiring loom is re-run through the car and about 65% figured out......
:gasp: but theres also bad news.... the ba$tards at the tyre shop messed up all 4 rims (gouged the paint off the edges.) and completely ruined one brand new tyre... (which they told me was a flawed tyre) i went to my mini parts supplier and he showed me exactly what they did (when installing the tyre it jammed on the edge of the rim slamming the armof the machine right into the alloys..... they screwed it up themselves....(it pisses me off more that they tried to cover it up with lying....i would have raher had them just fess up!) so now today i have to go down there and try to get these guys to pay fo rall the damage to my wheels..... I'm really not too happy about this If i can at least get them to pay the $125 for the messed up tyre i guess i'll be OK seeing as all tyre shops say they aren't responsible for damage to rims I guess I'll be respraying the rims on the tyres...... (oh well.... complaining never got anyone anywhere! just thought I'd update you all..)
Oh! and more good news!.... the hi-lo set that i bought of of Vasi arrived yesterday.... It'll be sweet! I'm putting frames together tommorow. :cheese:

ps. the turn out of the whole tyre place problem is this; they payed for the new tyre but I'm stuck repairing my rims... (which turns out to be only 2 not all 4 ) still kinda gutted about it but I'll get over it!

Must be a great feeling getting RUSTY all tarted up like that...esp doing it yourself aswell, thats a talent in itself...and much easier on the back pocket... :cheese:

Glad everyone likes the rims too! I'm getting my Falken 165/70/R10 's mounted onto them today!
