Since were going for more spec ill update mine AGAIN! lol

1. Wilson1275

2. paul 1380cc, 310 scatter, Swiftune full race head, 45dcoe, 5" Maniflow inlet, etc etc, 155 of Baldwins best

3. crocks (weber 40 on 1380 with 120bhp at crank)

3. mini93: weber 40 on unknown manufacture manifold(not even sure of the lengh but about 6 inch i think) noooice bit bellmouths. 1275 +60. Cyl head ports enlarged and smoothed, standard sized valves. 286 deg cam. pressed welded rockers

5. The Matt (45 DCOE, 38mm chokes, 5" Manifold, 1380cc, KC286 yadder yadder) bhp unknown, torque, unknown sad.gif

6. Alexcrosse 45DCOE on a 1430 105.7bhp @ wheels, full race bill richards head, 73.5mm omega pistons on cooper s rods, turbo crank 84mm, nitrocarbonised xdrilled wedged, 286 cam with 1.5:1 roller rockers 5" maniflow manifold and rubbish exhaust & manifold (soon to be updated). big ram pipes in K&N etc etc

7. Philsford 45 dellorto on 1380

8. rozzer 28/36 dgav unknown inlet manifold, 1046, sw5 cam, 12g940 head, full lightened and balanced, mirror polished conrods, maniflow phase 1 lcb, 1"3/4 single box centre system. 59bhp, 58lbft torque

9. mini_kel 45 DCOE on 6" oselli manifold 100mm trumpets,1330,286 etc,etc yet to be rolling roaded

I thought a Dellorto was a Dellorto and a Weber was a Weber? Are they the same?

there quite similar in design but bits of it actualy allow better fuel attomisation and flow...and yet the mini's design seems to like the webber better :) make sence of that!!!

pretty much, main difference is the pump jet design is different, webers have a kinda piston type pump jet where as the dellorto has a diaphram underneeth for the pump jet.

bout it though, dellorto is renound as the 'cheaper option'.


the A series engine like big blobs of fuel (less atomised) thus the weber proves better than the dellorto.
