This is where you find the best of the best. Super wide 10s is the only way forward I think.

Have you got the brake set up needed?

If your going for the 4pots, why dont you go the whole hog and fit turned down vented disks. It shouldnt be much more in the cost stakes and you shoulnt ever really find out what fade is with them on. Mine have been drilled and Ive had them glowing cherry red before but that can get the heart pumping when entering corners at speed.

Depends how you want to go about it. Id get a set of drive flanges off of a metro down the scrapy as they take nothing to tidy up yourself, and then fit a new set of discs. I suppose your looking at £20 for the flanges and say 180 for both disks. You can get them drilled etc but im not sure how much itll be be with them. Ive got Cooper S running gear (solid disks) and they work well but with a serious engine Ill definatly be upgrading to metro/turbo disks.

Make sure you take the flanges from a metro with 4pots if your gunna do that.
Standard metro calipers wont fit. They are slightly bigger than the minisport callipers. If you order the callipers remember to specify theyll be used on vented disks.

Right, if I was you, Id go for Metro drive flanges, turned down metro/turbo disks and a pair of aftermarket vented 4pot alloy callipers. This way your gunna stop regerdless of whats under the bonnet and how many times you use them.

As for pads id go for EBC Greenstuff, as I had carbon ones once and they were thernominal when hot but crud when cold. Greenstuff gives you a nice mix between light town work and fast road blasts.
