I cut out the gaps in the front so that the grille lips could sit in the front, then I testedthe grille to check the fit;

Looks quite mean I think!
Then I had to tackle the headlights so I began by cutting the hole for the passenger side, deliberately too small so that I could file away what I did not need to make sure the headlight bowl fitted nice and snug, so i started with this;

then this..........

and now the bowl is in (as you can see my workshop is not in the tidiest of condition lol;

Tomorrow's job will be to cut out the other hole for the drivers headlight and then get my free forms lights fitted!

If I have time I may even start fettling with my arches, we shall see.
The good news is my 998 is fixed and raring to go, but this time it is fitted with a 276 kent cam and 3.2 diff so I should have a better top end than 75mph lol.
