I saw what I guess is the wash-up interviews on the TV in the pub, but the sound was down so I didnt suss what was going on - in hindsight he wasn't there, neither was Sir Alan - which kinda makes sense now

My dad works for Alan Sugar and has to help the apprentice get into their new role once they are hired.

Every episode apart from the final is filmed before the show airs and then the finalists all work for Sir Alan before the final show.

If you dont believe me i will tell you the finalists before the next series

i beleive they have 6 month trials so he can decide then he offers them the job. so i guess by that jammy he means perm work not temp contractual work

sir alan also did say yesterday that rafe shouldn't have been fired so maybe he did hire him on the sly?

As I say, the winner was on Radio 1 this morning saying that they are going to be working with Sir Alan's son, for their holding company... AM-holdings?... anyway, the main thing they are going to be looking at is digital advertisement, and they start that job on July 1st.

I noticed on the follow up show, after The Apprentice, on BBC1 last night, Sir Sug' wasn't exactly lavishing praise on last years winner!

My dad is a manager at Viglen and they all do a stint there at one time or another. Personally i dont watch the show so i dont take to much interest when he tells me whats going on behind the scenes. Last year i know that the woman who didnt get hired was offered a % share of Viglen if she won....

How far in advance are the episodes filmed? Does anyone know?

I had a strange sense watching last night, that the [two piece] bottle design they came up with was already on the open market... I felt sure I had already seen something identical!!
