Most people have the standard lighting on the dash, white/yellow.

I would like thesome advice if possible on changing the colour.

NOT chav underglow, but straight swop for maybe a red to match my colour scheme.

Easy? Hard?

What is the score??

Or if you can't find coloured bulbs, just paint the existing ones with some paint or lacquer like this

Indeed there is paint to do such things, however those pictures look very photoshopped.

Interesting idea... alot of the lighting is through the dials themselves, with bulbs in holders plugged into the gauges. Those bulbs are small 'wedge' bulbs but I haven't seen them in anything other than clear.... *ponders*

I'm sure you can get coloured LED's which are a straight swap for the bulbs. I can't remember where from though.

*goes away and looks it up*

try this place Ultraleds

although i can't remember which ones you need

edit: i think it' the 501's that you need

Can someone who has striped a dash give some info on the technical side?

Easy to get to the bulbs?

How much do you have to strip to get to them?

Dash pod encased and over the steering wheel, or centre binnacle style?

I have a 3 and 3 setup.

3 over steering wheel and 3 in centre!

Bob

Edit : sounds strange, but too see what it looks like and stuff, wouldn't a red dry wipe work? lol or is that stupid?

They sell 501 dash bulbs on ebay for pennies. Any colour you want, and their LED too so last much longer.
