That's good MPG compared to what many are quoting, not bad power wise either. With a decent cam & head you'd have got a good chunk more to i suspect. Nice work. ;)

Right Phil i will be in touch about the head as i will go for one.

Spec im looking at is:

Mirage T2 kit 10psi
MG metro engine
Standard box with X-Pin
Phase 2 morspeed
The better one of the heads you said
Cossie intercooler
Megajolt.

Will that give me some respectable power?

Dont forget to have a centre main strap sitted at minimum and if you can afford it go for the 4 bolt centre cap then have the lot line bored. Although complete over kill it will give you piece of mind.

Also what do people think about have the gallery plugs drilled and tapped worth doing? Apparently they can blow out??

Right, i am thinking of running 10psi most of the time but want to be able to go up to 15psi for short periods of time, i am thinking of boring out +20 to 1293, what kind of pistons would be required and also i am going to get straight cut drops.

AE 21253's are what i've been running for the past 3 years, machined out to an 11cc dish. they come in at around £180 from morspeed already machined to 13cc or less if you want.

Just my 2p's worth. I am running an MPi (Emerald ECU), wideband lambda with VMAX supercharger. 151 BHP and 140 lbs.ft torque - 32-34 MPG.
