i very very very highly recommend getting it done professionally because in the end if you do it yourself with little experience it will cost you more because you will buy the film and spend ages trying to do it and get stressed with it all and then end up paying for it professionally anyway! its alot harder than it looks!!!!!
i wrote a small how to a little while ago on how to do it if you really want to do it yourself. i'll try and find it for you.
Oh and josh your fronts ARE illegal

How To Tint
Dont be fooled though professional palces use professional tint and even if the hellfrauds tint is put on proper it is still poo tint and the difference between that and professional is staggering!
IMO get it done professionally unless you A) are confident with your abilities B) can get hold of high quality tint.

you can only use a light smoked tint.
But there are very few ways police can check this, so if you have the front ones lighter than the back there isnt much chance of getting done for it as police cannot prove they are illegal.

£300 that’s stupid money, got my old Focus done all round and only cost me £160 with life time cover if i got any scratch’salso josh where did you get yours done? £100 is fairly cheap for a pro job, a mate off mine has just spent £300 on his on a golf,
Depending on how easy it is to get the windows out makes a difference to the price and what kind of cover they will give you on the tint.

Not so true, if a copper believes they are illegal he can pull u over and and call for someone to come out with a lazer gun that checks the tint. if they are illegal you have 2 choices smash your windows n carry on your way or the coppers take it to have them taken out. The second choice isnt the best when your miles from home at 11pm, not many places are open to take out your windows so the car gets impounded.
This is talking from experience.

I watched Traffic Cops and the cops pulled over a woman for having front window tints. Needs to have (I think he said) 70% light coming through.
And he tested it - he had a device for testing the amount of light coming through the tint. Clearly it was below regulation so he gave her two options, impound the car or PEEL off the tint. If it's just a layer of plastic stuck to the glass it peels off
