Got the car home today and been for my first spin round the block !!
Seeming I've got a quick rack and the lanes are pretty bumpy the car feels remarkably stable....it is also ages since I have sat in such a driving position for a quick car...the tyres touch the sills slightly over larger bumps and I got a tiny bit of fluid out of the radiator cap and also got to check the oil level again.;..it also seems there must be a technique of getting away in first without excessive revs or stalling !!
The reverse gear also takes some getting used to !!

Have you found out what was catching as the tyres couldnt foul the sills, wheelarches possibly??
Have you had the suspension geometry set up yet?
Im impressed with the harness retaining bar, makes a lot of sense as ive been looking at mine today and decided to do something similar with som 40mm diameter rollcage tubing i have lying round, just need to sort out a clamp for the ends and get it powder coated.
im also impressed with the digidash, i was intending to fit a stack system but i will need extra gauges and dash lights etc, it all contained in one unit with the digidash!! excellent.
Whats your next plans then except driving it??

Cheers

Hi, I've been away for a bit.and very busy at work..the car has stood in my trailer for a while as the ECU went dodgy and I had to source a replacement.
I've had two teething problems so I took the car to Z Cars last week and they rectified them for me...replaced the radiator header tank with a much smaller diameter piping and larger tank, and sorted out a glitch with the wiring on the Digidash .
I picked the car up yesterday and it looked fantastic...beautifully clean until a 50 mile trip on the back of a trailer through massive thunder and rain storms.
Well last night I manage to put on 30 miles and at last everything is fine!!
