nothing wrong with the arches!!!
Just need som spacers on the hubs to fill the arches properely, ps have you cut the inside out of the sportspack arches to allow the wheels clearance on full compression??

i thought i read in another post that it wasn't a very good idea to use,the sportspack wheels because they are not wide enough?

i like the look though. Real street sleeper look to it.

Yes thats correct or the word from mr allanson at least as i wanted to use sportpack wheels but was strongly advised not too as the track width is so narrow.
Hence the need for spacers.
sorry for hijacking the thread :nugget:

Mark, you're not hijacking it..thanks for thecomments...
I wanted a sleeper look..i.e. not too obvious...I do have another set of wheels and tyres for non-road use...I will have to check this out about being too narrow tracked...thr thought was that it would slide more easily !! :cheese:

i dont think you will have much problem in sliding it!!

I asked chris about sportpack wheels before i ordered my wheel/tyre package and that was the response...........Too narrow track!

cheers Mark

After reading this thread i am a bit annoyed at the people that started on the canadian guy, we are all entitled to our opinions and not once did he *woman of ill repute* anyone off he also did not *woman of ill repute* off anyones pride and joy, he did however politley state he was not impressed with the Z cars kit and could not understand the logic in chequebook mechanics paying for a kit like this, the way he was treated was well out of order and he was always polite back even when he was told to F off, just because someone does not share your point of view it does not mean you can speak to them like poo

Great project so far, and you've almost convinced me to go to a blue on white color scheme for my Z-Cars Monte Carlo.

Where did you source the awesome looking projector headlights form?

Cheers,

Monte

thanks for the comments.......I nearly didn't publish this thread as I wasn't actually building the car...so apologies to you proper project builders....I was actually going to do it myself, but as explained earlier, time was a great issue as I was working in London and coming home at weekends ,also my friend was excited in doing the build for me ....and I would have struggled manfully with the more demanding bits.

The headlights are supplied by Huddersfield Mini Spares ..Crystal halogensMinispares-online.co.uk

I got the painter to match the blue powder coating supplied by Z Cars...the engine cover will be blue also...everything else brilliant white
