Can your aprilia keep up with motorway traffic alright? Not got much clue when it comes to which bikes are capable of what speeds.

Dan

when i had the bike and i took it for a blast its very quick for a 125 i can pull 105 no probs but it will go a bit more but like i said don't use it very often im saving it for when pass test and then trade it in ,i had a bargain ........its an 06 and i payed 600 chap needed quick cash so i took it lol

wish I was given the oppertunity for a bargain like that!

I am going for my full license anyway and 33bhp is the limit for 2 years I believe.

Dan

thats if you don't take a das course i think

nope you have to be 25 or over to do a direct accses .

it is a stupid idea as loads of people take there bike test at 17 wait two years then go out and buy a 600cc (or bigger) bike and they have forrgoten how to ride correctly and are incapable of riding a powerfull bike as they only took a test on a little 125cc two years ago.

I thought it was 21 for the direct access?

Yeah it is a bit of a daft idea but with direct access you can have people who have never ridden a bike before and if they go for an intensive course they can have their license within a week then ride what ever bike they want the day they pass!

Yeah should be 21 as I'm doing direct access, not an intensive course just a couple lessons a week for like 10 weeks, just done my theory test today but am still on 125s will be moving upto a 500 some time soon but not looking forward to it as you need decent clutch control and I'm still working on that.

Anyway heres my baby

I used to have an Old Suzuki RG125 Gamma,... Was good for 107mph (GPS agreed!!),.. mental little 2-stroke.

It was proper 80's beast,.. I loved it. Specially when i found out the 250 engine would fit in the same frame :techsupport: :)

Also had the looks of a bigger bike unlike a lot of the other 125's that were about.

This is my current bike....

Attached File  russandroslyn3_small.jpg   261.77K   50 downloads

and I ride a Suzuki DR400 or BMW G650XChallenge for work.

Last month I raced a Husqvarna 610SM in Belgium and broke my wrist in four places, as fully documented in the August edition of TWO Magazine!!

I so want another bike although i am more into my MX bikes, I found a rather nice CRF250 for sale which i am tempted by but i would rather have a Huskavana!

i really need my road licence, My brother in laws dad has just bought a 1300 busa and Christ al might, I had a go on a private road, got on it and swiftly got back off again!

you have to be completely off of your nut to ride a busa!

I love the CRF250, absolutely bullet proof.

The Huskies are good but a little overpriced. KTM are making some awesome bikes.

21 and over for das, http://bikewize.co.uk/das.html

got two bikes both still projects and both are cagiva mito's

i used to have a cagiva mito in red just like in the pic

Did someone say mito? ;D

Heres my second mito, first crashed, slighty my fault ;)

Posted Image

Above was 33hp still running on plates, 33hp in a mito/rs125 is awesome, get it past 7250rpm on the mito when the powervalve opens up and the smile appears very very quickly on your face!

Did a full test last year and bought my second baby

Dan - If you aint done the theory yet, get yourself a dvd from halfords, its an interactive dvd and has the same questions/hazzard perception vids you'll get asked on the day, go through it a few times and the bike questions will soon start repeating themselves :dontgetit:

Good luck, you wont regret it

;)
