I decided on Thursday that I wanted him to be MOT'd for the weekend so I stopped in the garage till 11pm Thursday night to get him all welded up.
I also repaired the steering cololum, adjusted the brakes, and generally checked him over.

I'm fairly happy with the result, not a resto job, but strong and fairly tidy.
Anyway, I decided to take him for a quick spin around the block to check him out.
Disaster!!!
The front side passengers wheel felt like it was trying to shake itself off, dammit!
It was too late the check it out so I went to bed resigned to not MOTing him.
I woke up at 6am and realised he had rubber driveshaft joints, which when they wear can make the noise I heard.
Jacked him up and lo and behold, it was knacked.
I decided to risk driving him for an MOT(with AA card), he made it there and turned out to be nice to drive as well.
After about an hour I got I call from the Test station, they couldn't MOT him as they couldn't find his details on the computer, I would have to come in with the V5 to get him tested
GUTTED!!
My late night was for nothing!!
I ordered the new joints and removed the old knacked ones

I think this may be the source of the noise!!!!
I also gave the underside a quick coat of "MOT in a Tin! or underseal!!

I also need to
- give him a service
- Fix Gearlever rattle
- Convert to neg earth
- Fit radio
- Fit minilites
- Fit new tie-bars
Give him a clean and tidy up
