Dont know when you put that edit on but i didn't see it!

With regards to the FAQ i was just pointing out that i did search in there before posting!

Anyway lets not have an arguement about it... Your clearly right about everything :)

even if u fit 12x6 wheels u will still need to cut over half the wing away.

right,im getting a bit fed up with all the negative feedback and borderline bullying with this thread, this guy is a relative newby and has come on here to ask some questions,he clearly does not have much knowlege when it comes to wheels and tyres,as well as modifying the mini to take larger wheels ( no offence mate ),so instead of trying to shoot him down every two minutes with a volley of witty rants and put downs some constructive critisism is in order here, i mean we are all supposed to be friendly and help each other out around here, and yes i expect every man and his dog to jump on the bandwagon after reading this and send there sh@t my way,so be it,just give the guy a chance.rant over, millso, its YOUR mini mate, you can do want you want with it and fit whatever you like to it,just because others dont like what your doing, its your choice mate, now you have some information you can make an informed decision on what way to go forward with the look and style your after, good luck!

No worries Stroker...
I am a newby no two ways about it and as i have said in other threads have about as much technical knowledge as a hamster :P but i want to learn, and look to sites like this for support!

I clearly new nothing at the begining of this thread about wheels, but feel i know alot more now... so no matter what form the advice came in i am thankful that i have improved my knowledge!

As far as im concerned there is no need for anymore posts on this thread... i came with a question, it has been answered!

what the hell ?????

firstly, no one seriously said he should not fit them

second, the wheels he has will look naff with the arches, fact, so by telling him this we are trying to help

third, I'm only geting impatient with him because all the things hes asking have already been covered, it's like hes not reading the replies properly

forth, if you thinks that bullying then you have lived a very sheltered life. :P

fifth, he's happy, why aren't you ????
