Nice mini you've got there!

Your number plate is nearly the same as Mini Magics on here! Your mini must be a very close relation indeed!! :D

Nice, that is very close indeed, at first i thought you posted a picture of my mini! weird.

Hehe, I thought you'd bought Magics off him, as its for sale.

Very nice Mini Cooper.

Once the rust is sorted, a good dose of Waxoyl or Dinitrol should then keep it at bay.

would seem that it's gunna be quite pricey to do a proper job looks like to get rid of the tiny door bubbles i'll need to replace the flipping door or it'll just come through again!

my wife says that owning my mini is "character building"lol, once the tin worm has got its claws in its new metal, having said that if the rust bubbles are only small then there are products that chemicaly reverse the rust and stop it returning,i have tries these products before but found it still came back, aroung the treated area lol.

Just fill the door bottom with Waxoyl, that'll keep it at bay.

Would you have to strip back the paint to treat the rust as i'm guessing the rust is under it? or would you treat straight onto the effected area?

sounds a bit worthless for it to come back, lol, looks like i'd have to replace the panels if it gets bad! just annoying as it means resprays as wll which is bloody expensive!

So out of interest what sort of price would i be looking at if i were to replace the panels on the effected areas?

Here are some pics of the trouble areas? some are clearer than others but the one of the door gap next to the wheel arch has quite big bubbling under the paint!
