does not look that bad mate,you want to nip it in the bud before it gets worse,may want to pop the front windscreen out,remove the top dash rail and dash board as that does not look to great under the screen,will give you an idea how far its spread!
i had to strip mine down a year ago,and even with rust treater its all come back,hense the fibre glass front ive now got

yeah i know Not sure how the rust got under the screen must mean time of new seals! i would probably have to do a filler job for the time being while i get some funds together as i got a feeling new panels are gunna be pricey with a sray job on it as well.

Hi..save your pennies and treat youur mini to a respray as its vrery cheap over there compered to Jersey mine cost £1500 just for respray as I did all the body work.............from this

So if i opted for a respray would that mean that i would have to sort the rust work first? because wouldn't i be better of doing a filla job and just having that area sprayed?

Or would they sort out the rust parts for me before spraying it?

Well its a acording on how good you are at preping as it must be a good finish for someone to respray on IE dead flat and no dings or pimples ect ect............... :D

Well i've never done anything like that,lol.. so would i have to get someone else to do that for me then get someone else to do the re-spray?

sorry if this sounds thick but never done this sort of stuff b4!

Well a little advice Purchase this book "DIY Restoration" by Lindsay Porter, pub by Haynes and this showes you how to make a start ,,,,practice on an old door first as its flat and once you've got the Knack move onto shell...................good luck............... :D
