Its amazing what little 'uns can pick up, I remebmer being able to tell when my dads van was coming down the street when I was a nipper. (I mean by sound, not the black cloud of smoke)

years back when my sisters bf used to come over i could tell when he was pulling up as his astra used to rumble quite distinctively!

Ive been able to recognise a Massey Ferguson 135 Tractor, since i was about 7! i wouldnt worry about it....

my dog knows the sound of an aircooled vw and despite the fact I`ve had loads of cars knows my old cars!saw my old subaru the other week passing and she followed it :dontgetit:

my dog knows the sounds of my dad's nissan micra...cause it is fairly tappety. One time it went by, and then we walked passed another small red car, and he wanted to get in it. poor guy got confused!

my daughter is 18 months and knows the sound of my mini and can distinguish between my husbands motorbike and others, she often hears him coming home along the top road and runs to the door shouting dad :dontgetit:

That is very cute!

When we moved house, my cat ran away on the first day, and went missing for ages. Then my dad fired up the motorbike to go to work and she came running towards it!

So what I'm saying is that my cat has the skills of Bungle Jnr. Or vice versa. :dontgetit:

so far he's not quite got the VW camper thing

all campers are Dolly (the name of our camper)

there are

split Dolly's - split screen
Dolly -bay window
square Dollys- T25's

anything else is new Dolly's
