Its the chrome ring that lets it down i think. Is it possible to wet and dry them to a paintable state? There is also another chrome ring for the headlight alignment and to hold them in!
I guess it'd be a job to get them with a chrome finish?
Would it be possible to try to photoshop some in chrome stirx!? Suppose its hard to photo shop chrome due to the reflections it'd have?
But then if they were in chrome they wouldn't stand out, they'd just blend into the headlight?
I think they'll look better on the darker cars in body colour but lighter cars need them in a dark colour might try rubbing down some old chrome rings, see how that goes.
