The light bar I bought second hand and unfortunately dont know much about. It looks like any old light bar I would imagine just a few different Spots/Fogs and maybe a few more holes?

Andy, sure you can look after my wheels, its the tyres Im worried about

Pah, when its all nice and shiney? That could take a while.

Thanks people for the nice comments, but if you looked at it close up you'd soon realise what an actual shed it is. I would love to redo alot of it. Maybe Im just a perfectionist?

Just been reading this thread from the start, thanks for sharing I can see you have been having fun and learning a lot along the way and ur cat really loves it too.
Its not easy working outside but its given me motivation to start rebuilding my old cooper when it gets a bit warmer  otherwise it could turn into a chicken coop.

GREAT PROJECT!!! on a tight budget (don't you just hate students, loads of free time, youthful, always drinking, having lots of casual sex and annoyingly talented).
Any chance of some updates? and a picture or two of your dash. I am really looking forward to seeing how the KA dash looks,
well done fella!!!! :(

Erm i didnt fit the KA dash in the end as it was too much work and I just needed the mini finished. I will probably end up getting a fibreglass one as my digidash is currently mounted on two metal strips welded between the dash rails.

No more pictures unfortunately. Ive posted all the ones I have and the mini is at home 150 miles away

Hi,

So it looks like you have finished before me......
You said your car is bad but mine is 10 footer, also.
It looks OK from about 10ft away and come closer......It's a dog!

Have you driven mini since you got a MOT?

I know what mini would be like since I had a mk1 Swift Gti.
It will be very quick and little mod will give you better performance.

I hope you can go home and do some work on it soon!

Cheers
Atchi

Haha thanks Atchi. Havent had a chance to drive it yet and although it has an MOT Im slowly redoing ALOT of it because Im not happy with it.

So that said:
Subframe Mk2 is started (barely)
An actual dash is being put in instead of this:

The fit isnt great so Ill be spending alot of time getting it perfect.

Also bought a spare engine and started stripping it but also half rebuilt it to use to mock up subframe mk2 and I made a new exhaust manifold.

Also sourced a non gti gearbox that I can use to bolt onto my spare engine but more importantly has a lower final drive I can fit into the gti box to suit the 10s im running.

So thats what I spent most of my easter doing.

Can I ask what dash that it. I have been looking for a fibreglass dash like that but obviously not looking hard enough.

Minisport Monte carlo light bar with a hole drilled in the fron't mount :)

Hope you appreciate that middle lamp, King. Took me a *melonsing* age to drill that bar!
