its quite funny reading this thread....my gearknob is one my mate made in college years ago!....he made a couple and he gave me one, very much like the first one!

If you could make one about 2.5" long in the same shape as my handbrake, I'll have one even if it costs a wee bit extra no probs. See pic, will get a better one if need be

It's impossible to take a picture of a mini interior while sitting in the front and not get a bit of your leg in shot!

i've just got back from college, spent today setting up the lathe ready for the aluminium that i should be getting in the next few days.

BBB if you could put up a close up of the handbrake it would give me a better idea of what you want.

as for engraving i'm going to try it out on a spare bit to see if it works.

Here you go, only I would only want 4 grooves roughly the same width as standard handbrake but about 2.5" long. Let me know mate

i would like a gear nob they look great and only the mini forum lot would have them we could get them all ingraved with something to say we are part of the same club

these look great if you want ask one of the mods to put it in the pinned section in for sale and get a list going there, these look great, better than my alluminium one which is actually doing some damage :nugget:
