Guys,

Our site is up for testing purposes!!

Pls have a nosey and let me know if there's anything extra you'd like to see on it.

Quick note though, I'm hosting it on my personal space which doesn't have support for mailer functions hence the 'Register' section isn't actually functional, but it will be once we have a proper home for it.

http://www.xenith.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

Incidentally, the For Sale/Wanted section's also still under construction, each of the categories listed on it will eventually be tidied into a drop-down menu under the red headers. My knowledge of java isn't that good yet, so bear with me >_<

Other than that, floor's open so please have a nosey and let me know what you think!!

Definatly:

arches
grill
grill surround
door trim
sun visors
rear view mirror (not sure if its special designer, but i got a newun)

Almost definatly:

door cards
front seats
steering wheel, im pretty sure its not the designer one though.

not sure, but likly:

back seats

I have some other things, but i cant remember them all.

Its going to be red and white, with chrome trim, racer style when its finished.
with red grill, red arches, red bonnet stripes, red coach stripes, red 1275GT style side stripes, red number plate light.
Black 12x6 minilites.

I could go on lol

Site looks great!

i've got a designer mini it was white but the guy who owned it painted it black and removed all the designery bits all im left with is the interior.
is it worth my while aquring / making the nessacery parts to make it a true designer? it will need a complete reshell to start with.
any advice

Its up to what you want it for...

If your just going to sell it then yes it probably is worth it.
If you want a perfect designer because you like them, and want one, then yes.
If you want a car for you, with your personal touch, then no, it isnt, you will always be wishing you had done it the way you wanted. until it comes to the time to sell... but by then, the perfectly restored designer spec, wouldnt be perfect.... so in this case no its not.

well 8 grand is abit to much - if its an original and when you sell it its got lower then 5 thousand miles and id be the second owner it can feth roughly 5 grand but never seen them hit 8.
if it needs reshelling go for it,if you have the interior and its complete ( front and back seats aswell as door cards ) then the only things left are stickers- wheel - and bonet badge which you can get cheap.
id say save it and do it up >_<
like burnard says if your going to sell it do it up original and you can make abit depending if you dont splash to much cash into the project. or just sell it on as a restoration - or chop it up but thats abit too far lol
if it was me of course i would save it and even repaint it back to white again.but that is me
