Gazebo is still on the 'to get' list.
The flag I'm going to attempt to make out of a large white sheet and some fabric paint to save ££.
We need to add "refreshments" to the list too Can't have a birthday party without booze!
Oh and there's an honour convoy into Brum on the Sunday too, shall I book us all in for that?

im decorating wicker baskets atm for the auction lol

congrats Monty!

I'll finish off the designs for the printing asap. Also, I have a photocopier so will knock up a flyer design and post it for approval, then can get a few printed.

My list so far is :

* Design & Print Main Banner
* Design & Print Posters for Inside Marquee
* Design & Print Leaflets
* Get some www.minidesigner.co.uk vinyl stickers cut for everyone who wants one.
* Case of Wine / Beers or something
* Find and check our tent (hoping the step-son put everything back in the bag)

Have I missed anything?

PS: Gunna have to find photos of you all so that we can recognise you lol.

PPS: Mary's new wheel hub is part-assembled, will hopefully have it back on tommorow. Then its just new caliper and tax and its back on the road again. Shes going to look very rough at IMM though as I have to wait until after to start on the bodywork.

If we all meet at Star City prior to the show, we can do the meet & greets and convoy in together, so those of us who don't know where Cofton Park is won't get lost The show ground is open from the Wednesday evening, but I was planning to get there on Friday and get the stand established. Will anyone else be able to make that?

If we all meet at Star City prior to the show, we can do the meet & greets and convoy in together, so those of us who don't know where Cofton Park is won't get lost The show ground is open from the Wednesday evening, but I was planning to get there on Friday and get the stand established. Will anyone else be able to make that?

Since ill have most of the printed stuff, should probably be there Friday too, depends what time the kids dad can pick them up.

May still need to meet someone somewhere big though on the Friday to find the place lol.

Oh Gotta, if you could send CDR vector files would be perfect! my maryquantmini email should work :S (i hope)

need to ask a favor if there is
i cant fit everything into mary and a helium tank so if i give you money can you book it and ill pick it up from brum or can you drop it or something as i dunno anywere in brum haha

MQ: Trust me when I say you can't miss Star City. Just look for a forest of neon lights as you come up to M6 J6 and that'll be it. It's a massive entertainment complex, with a 'funfair', casino, cinema and everything. Take the A38M/J6 exit and follow the signs around the island at the bottom to the right (4th exit), stay in the left lane when you come off and follow the road around. It's about 3 mins from there.

I'll sort the images out during the course of this week as I'll have to redraw them and save in said format. Leave it with me!

Pretz: There's a birthdays on my doorstep... well, it's about 20 mins walk away actually. What size tank will you need? - I'll PM you my mobly in case of disastrophies on route up here and to enable you to find us at IMM if you're arriving on the Saturday.

Next question... What's going to be the best time for us all to convene on the day? I'm 15 mins from Star City, so I'll play by your rules. (6am is not a good answer, though...)

lol well gotta they do asfar as i know one tank which is £50 deposit you get back and £40 for the tank itself - it does or should do up to 150 12inch balloons but if they say it doesnt dont worry because it allways does and more lol
iv booked and got already some high float for the latex balloons so they will stay floating for up to 2 weeks which will cover us for the weekend and any for kids and us
number balloons iv got deflated so we can inflate up there
silent auction still buying bits atm it looks like its just mary q 60's glitter socks lol
ill find something though dont worry

I've actually had a better idea There's a Birthdays in Northfield, which you have to pass through to get to Cofton Park It's about two miles from where we'll be actually, so shall I give 'em a bell or would you like to do the honours?

well its not that what the problem is
wether its in brum or not i cant fit the tank into mary with all the other bits like
tent
balloons
dolls
mary q stuff
camping bags
fire stove
etc
i mean even if you book it in brum
and on saturday when i come up or friday i go with you and get it after unloading some of the *poop poop* in my car lol

That's my plan. I'm 17 miles from Cofton myself, so to 'dump the junk' then trek all the way back to Sutton is a bit of a faff. If we're already established with the marquee and whatnot then Monty should be ok to carry the tank. As is, I'm gonna have gazebo, 10 metal fence poles plus camping stuff, costumes and display material, so short of a shoe-horn and vaseline, I won't be able to take the tank on Friday myself!
