Hi all,

as above is the wife's birthday in just over a week and seriously struggling for things to buy her, and money isn't exactly in abundance!!

so maybe some suggestions from yuo guys would get me started??

she has more underwear than la senza and more clothes than next so i am trying to steer clear of those normal things.

wanted to try and find that present that will make her go :D and :dontgetit:

Personalised gifts are the best! :D

The best thing Kris has done for me was when he took me to York. He booked an absolutely gorgeous appartment on the riverside. We went for dinner in a fantastic restaurant, then went for a night-time stroll around the city streets - It was perfect! :dontgetit:

They don't have to be pricey or anything! A little effort and imagination goes a long way!

It's all down to the individual though, really - I would prefer an experience, rather than an object?

Maybe a complete day full of lots of little surprises? :) Flowers at work, little notes/choccys around the house, a few little candles and a massage? :dontgetit:

Well we all know how Bean's love life is! :dontgetit:

I dunno what to suggest. I tend to make the boyfriend things so that it's personal. Only thing is, I get sidetracked... he still hasn't had his anniversary present from June... :D

Agreed, experiences rather than objects are best from my point of view, they are much more memorable. Surprise her with something personal that you've put a lot of effort into :D

Ethel..you are a class act! I was just going to get the goggles and gloves from Home Base. The pink strap is the personal touch. I just don't have the ability to think of the details

Maybe thats why I'm single?
