I did just what I wrote, with my wife when we were on our honeymoon, but it was on the A1 the gent was great he put up a table with cloth and umbrelle.
two grease burgers and two mugs of tea. lorries thundering by, windy, and us two sitting there.
if he had a candle he would have put that on the table as well. the grub was brill by the way.
