According to www.Multimap.com, from Manchester to Clitheroe is 33 miles.

The route is then 31 miles long.

Il be driving from Manchester up to Clitheroe, doesnt take too long really.

Will probs be setting off about 12 ish on the Saturday all being well, lemme know if you want to meet up somewhere and drive up :D

Sounds like a new thermostat will be required then.

The heater control in mine is stuck open and the only way to keep cool is drive with window down! Not complaining though as I know a lot of mini's had rubbish heaters!

Looking forward to run too........

Thats the thing.... its a new 88 deg thermostat. It slowly works its way upto warm but as soon as it does it drops down instantly so it seems the rad is cooling the water quicker than the engine can warm it... also the heater bypasses the thermostat as it goes through the inlet manifold. :thumbsup:

not long now people. had a few e mails from the paper so could be a few coming from that... see you all on sat going away working today so will be offline till late friday night so hope to see as many of you as possible on sat..

well just a little update not had chance to come on for a while, the bonnet is now sorted! pinned and strapped down (sounds kinda kinky), new wipers, I'm havin' to make do with a scratched screen for a while but it'll live and i'm goin' to do a bodge paint job on the scuttle tonight. So see you all saturday!

Aboot: get over here, I'm at a party in bolton on hallowe'en but i'm makin' the effort! :D
