But if I go to a resteraunt, I don't ask for dear, I ask for Venison. I dont ask for cow, I ask for beef etc. lol

but seriously, it is called horsemeat on the menu

go to france they might call it cheval but that's about it.

During the war, there wasn't much of anything. They ate horse to survive.

According to wikipedia its sweet, tender, low in fat and high in protein. It probably tastes like chicken too considering everyother meat does apart from beef and fish...

it is eaten alot here in sweden but it is called hamburger meat and thinly sliced and put on sandwiches i have tried it and its not that bad actually

as a horse rider of pretty much all her life, i find this subject a bit sick! i know people eat meat and all, but personally, i don't want to think about someone eating an animal i'm very fond of! i'm with minigirl & shedonwheels for this one!
