as a horse rider of pretty much all her life, i find this subject a bit sick! i know people eat meat and all, but personally, i don't want to think about someone eating an animal i'm very fond of! i'm with minigirl & shedonwheels for this one! :dontgetit:

No offense, but you didn't have to click on this.

I have nothing wrong with the thought of eating horse meat, but I don't like the way they kill them.

so what are you saying, anyone who finds the idea of eating a horse unpleasent can't post here?

You have just simple come onto this topic to say you didn't want to think about it, rather than give some decent and constructive info. Like me :dontgetit:

uh, no. I came here to read about something related to an animal I love. and when I saw people talking about eating them, I left my thoughts. the title says nothing about eating a horse. only what horse meat is called.

i actually agree with hellosio, i have found a few comments a bit .... erm..... revolting.

we are all aware people eat them, but we dont want too know how they are made into the stage where we can eat them.

think of other people please

I'm not quite sure how eating horse meat is any different to eating beef, pork or lamb.

If you don't like it then don't eat it.

If you find it offensive then don't read about it.

*holds hands up*

I don't want a fight, trust me! I just didn't like the attitude thrown my way. you can all talk about eating horses until the cows come home. however if you're allowed your thoughts, I should be allowed mine.

My comment wasn't aimed at you having your opinion Hellosio (or indeed anyone else) :dontgetit:

It was just at the virtual raising of voices, people hitting the keys a little harder than necessary :dontgetit:

When I started the post I really didn't have eating horse in mind lol. It was just a drunken conversation with my mate really. Just thought it would have an assosiated name or dish. Don't get me wrong either, I can see where all you horse lovers are coming from about eating them. I have a dog and the thought of dog chowmain really puts me off lol Bet theres plenty of thai people out there licking there lips at the sight of a Jack Russel lol
