I thought it was a normal English word but i put it in a translator.
Best translation i guess is 'sealant', so maybe not be as exotic as you thought
Haha exotic funny, i think i probably know of it, looks like a brush on seam sealer i guess.

nice work!!
That is a really good mk2 shell now.
What are yor plans for the finished car?

Thanks! I was expecting this question sooner
I'm trying it to restore it to near new condition, so hopefully i can drive it for like 10 years without any major problems.
Engine and gearbox will be completely rebuild too.
It's going to be an Austin Cooper 998 replica. Tartan red, black roof.
I just love all the extra trim bits the Cooper had.
I want to fit 7,5" grooved discs with 4 pot calipers, no servo.
All black interior. Thinking about black headlining too.
Cooper S right hand fuel tank.
Cooper (S) boot board.
Adding fog and reverse lamps for better everyday use.
I've sourced several engines (including a 1275) but i want to use A (not +) series 998 with remote shift gearbox. I have a 4 synchro one.
Also have a 12G295 head with the D top pistons from an Innocenti 90E engine laying around.
Putting in a Swifttune SW5 07 cam, twin HS2 carb, small bore Maniflow LCB with small bore twin pot RC40 - side exit exhaust.
Would like to have the cilinder head modified to stage 3 and then hope it will make about 55-60 bhp.
Planning on using a 3.1 final drive for nicer high way driving and better mpg.
Any thoughts on this?

Primer
Wow! Finally get a glimpse of how good this Mini could look...
Ps. Topic is now up to date!

Recieved some new photo's today. The boot lid needed some work too.
Since this is a closed model (double skin) it was first chemical cleaned to also remove any rust on the inside.
Some spots where copper welded because of the less heat involved.

Recieved a video today from the work shop (www.7heaven.nl).
It shows the MK2 completely in primer, he's really starting to look good now!
I uploaded it to YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqwnFrlxvlc

Thank you for the compliments!
This sunday is the first Mini Seven Club Nederland meeting of this year and the work shop is attending it too.
Guess what they're bringing along to show off?
Last time i saw it in person was before the sanding, so i can't wait!
Ps. Sorry to read you had to go through all that trouble! I've editted the first post so it doesn't seem there's nothing posted yet!

Things aren't progressing as fast as i hoped for.
But here's a update anyway!
Removed any old sealant from the inside of the body and applied new welding primer.
New sealant applied
Also on the outside
Taped of certain areas
The original factory brackets where missing after we replaced the floor parts.
So we corrected that!
Underside in spray sealant/evo sealer. This is normally only found on modern cars.
But ofcourse we want to protect all this hard work!
Hé! Is that a color code?
And something liquid...
Tada! The underside is sprayed in Tartan Red!
The spray sealant/evo sealer is paintable and it looks way nicer this way!
A close up
The rest should be painted in the next couple of weeks.
To be continued!
