todays job.

new bits on the way.

Mmm tomorrow I make a tool to but a bead in some pipe. Should be fun then I can see if the new delivery fits.

so the bits i was waiting for arrived.

add some existing bits. no idea if both will fit at the time of photo.

so as of the end of play today.

brackets done.

hoses made.

rad fitted.

 need to get more ties for the fan and work out some means of plumbing in the expansion tank.

did not need the alloy tube in the end.

and the Minispares order should be here on Tuesday.

so what were the bits for.

finally decided to make the DSN fuel breather usable with some heat shield.

filtered the coolant

all together and running with no leaks. just need to sort out catch tanks

minispares delivery this morning this and other bits.

and a couple of tanks.

got into the garage this morning. still 32 degrees.

stripped the grill

now to get a sheet of aluminium to replace this and to mount the above on.

also stripped down one of the tanks to see how much they actually hold. 1/2 Liter

so a couple of hours after work i worked out how i am doing things.

slats modifying tomorrow.

more holes drilled a primer on. will try and get some colour on in the morning so assembly can start after work friday.

on a plus note the big breather connection has been done.

well not quite sure what is going on with number 5

but other wise quite happy.

 

the back has been relived to remove most of the airflow hindrances.

 

just needs more time with the die grinder. but was getting tired.
