good question regs say you have to have one. which is insane. need some heat shield for the floor.

Are the emissions actually checked to see if the cat is working, or could you loose the innards of the cat and move it further away from the tail pipe so a scrutineer can't see that the guts are missing?

Just read through all this. Awesome work and a hugely respectable custom fabrication project. Very cool.
When I saw this I immediately thought “now that’s hot, Batman!” Looks like the old jet at the back of the original batmobile!

picked up a "new" mid box. Craftsman a Sears own brand when sold. not bad for 30 notes

so as some of you may remember from the start of this thread i looked after this car
a bit quick and held its class record for about 12 years.
well in 95/6 we fitted an ignition system to it and i kept the "card" that came with it.
roll on to 2014 where i find out if he is still making them yes.
today i am rather happy.
