1993 mini sprite purchased may this year just 10 days before l2b after my previous mini had to many problems so decided to sell up and get another mini :) its come along way since ive had it now its off the road for the winter. the rebuild has begin and will upload previous photos to the day it came off the road and the work thats gonna be done to him :)

The day it arrived :) 92 sprite 57k on the clock fully original. 1 lady owner owned from new full service history. car is completely original

Just a few months later. and it was looking alot better new wheels where fitted . became a 2 seater removed the back seats and fitted 2 bucket seats. cleaned up the engine bay. did a few mods.

subframe had seen its days and wasmaking a knocking noise so out it came and then purcahsed another subframe and rebuilt it and got that back on the car.

the car got neglected for a couple of weeks so gave it a clean and put it away for the winter. now the real work can begin.

After a good few hours of stripping the car down. the engine is finally out.

ive managed to drop the front subframe out and completely strip it ready for rebuild.

all off this came off ready to be stripped and cleaned.

since then i have had all the parts that build up the front sub frame all blasted cleaned all new parts where ordered and everything went off to be powder coated. the photos will do the talking.

now that we are all up to date photos will be of current build. ive been busy with other things on the car as to where i am at now but first i got the subframe parts back from powder coating and i was over the moon with them really good job.

the sub frame has been fully built and was fitted back to the car to make it rolling again. will still need to compete couple of things on it c.v boots etc and rubbers but that can wait until the car goes in for respray. will be coming back out so it doesn't get over spray over it. 

 

i am very happy with the sub frame build looks really smart now.
