My engine starts to judder alot in all gears after about 2 miles or so or when the temp starts to warm up. It mostly becomes apparent when I get to the first hill climb then just judders there after until I stop for half an hour then start off again will keep doing the same thing. I've checked all spark plugs and leads not them. Cleaned up contacts on ignition coil thought that had fixed the problem and then it's started agaon. Could it be a problem with the radiator? I've recently installed a used one as my last one developed a leak. Was thinking maybe this new used one has crap on it and some blockages on the vents are maybe causing the problem? Going to go and buy some redx and change some fuses see if that helps. Any advise on this matter would be much appreciated as I'm out and about and miles from home many thanks

Going to change the coil at 4oclock when the part is in stock I think it could well be on its way out, will have a look at the float bowl not looked at it yet. Could it be a faulty connector from coil to dizzy as I've put a new spade connector on and seems to work better but still a slight judder it's definitely electrical, not the plugs will messs more thanks for replies will let you know as soon as it's sorted

Change the points and the CONDENSER. Make sure the dizzy cap is clean and not cracked, if it looks crappy chuck it.  Similarly the plug leads.   All that sort of stuff should never be allowed to get old.

If I get a kit with rotor arm, points, condenser ec would it be a quite simple job and would I need to remove the distributer? Or if not would it effect the timing? Many thanks.

You can change points and condensor etc in place, no need to remove the dizzy

When it next misfires have a look at the rev counter(if fitted) does it spike(500-1000rpm) or stay constant??

If it stays constant its fuel, if erratic its electrical
After you solve this issue look into an electronic ignition kit
