Or try Euro Car Parts. They have 69% off if you use the code XMAS and the stock Bosch too

If you can find a garage who charges £20 use then because most around me charge min of £35 and then stick vat on!

£42 including vat for 10 minutes work to plug a code reader in, select vehicle type and to press a button to read fault codes is having a laugh.......

Having said that, I have just noticed that you live in Buckinghamshire.

That's why! Get closer to London and it goes up .. 8-{

Hi Guys,
Well a straight forward job almost ended up in a nightmare. Looks like the previous owner had attempted to remove the sensor but failed as the head was rounded. With a bit of heat and a 21ml socket (Not the 22) we managed to get it out after 2 hours or so and ended up with very little thread left to put the new one in but managed. Cleared fault codes and ran  a check and all is ok. Many thanks for all you input. It really has been appreciated.

A Happy new year to you all

Alan

It was actually 'up to 69%' .. I got about 35% off an air filter on Tuesday using the code (Renault part).

And it's not just fleabaay parts. Years ago my Alfa was fitted with an NTK lambda sensor (part of NGK group). The car was never quits right and after a few thousand miles the eml light would come on intermittently. Turns out the Bosch lambda is 8ohm and NTK 4ohm.

And like good plugs lambdas have a life of around 60k miles too.
