Hi!

Ive got a 1996 SPI and when im accelerating, the engine begins to judder and buck violently before giving me power!

Ive checked my vacuum lines and there was a tiny bit of petrol in there, but it still happened once it was cleared. I've even taken the ECU, vac lines and fuel trap out of the car and placed it on a radiator overnight - as advised by Sprocket in his post, but to no difference!

My temp gauge reads just under 1/2 when driving, which i understand is normal!

Also, once the cars been driven for approx 20-30 mins and i turn it off, then engine will turn but not fire! the only way round this (which sometimes works) is to keep pressing the throttle whilst turning the engine in a bid to make it fire!!!

Im tempted to get new: vac lines, fuel trap, lambda sensor, temp sensor and coolant temp sensor in a bid to revitalize that element of the engine!

Does anyone have any other suggestions, or ideas before i go on a shopping spree!?

Cheers!
