Hello all,

I took my 1974 Innocenti Cooper 1300 out at the weekend and lost throttle response on a few occasions. The engine carries on ticking over but nothing happens when I press the accelerator. It only lasted about 30 seconds and then all was fine again.

Anybody had a similar issue and know what the cause might be? Very grateful for any wisdom you can offer.

Cheers,

Owen

Ah, I haven’t checked. It had a thorough service before winter storage so I would hope so, and my son’s arrival has meant I’ve only had chance to take it out twice this year. But I’ll check this weekend.

Thanks for the pointer, much appreciated. If there’s anything else to take a look at if that isn’t the issue I’m all ears.
