Hi guys,

i have a Austin Mini 1000 from 1984,

FIRST ISSUE:

when i turn on the hazard the indicators don't works (it's right) but the four indicators, does not turn on. So i might thing is that something wrong with relays and switches, but i don't know where they are and how can i  test them to check if they works.

SECOND ISSUE:

the lights. If i turn on the position lights are ok, but when i turn on the dipped headlights, works only the front right, and the left is still on the position light. Then, when i turn on the Bright light (i've four headset on the front grill) all the light turns off....

THIRD ISSUE:

the heating system of the car does not work, what can I do?

I ask you for help because I currently ride this way with this car, but I would like to fix the problem permanently.

Thank you

Daniele

first issue sounds like the hazard relay has gone. it is separate to the indicators. the relay position is next to the indicator relay so turn the indicators on and follow the sound. you should be able to feel the click on the working one.

sounds like an element in the bulb has burnt out.

check water level top up to about 1" (25mm) below where the cap seals then run with the heater valve open to get any air out top up if needed and then refit cap.

Do you think that is probavly for the relay that the flasher and the hazard does not working? Cause i've seen on Mini spares store this product, and it's selled like the hazard and flasher unit, so maybe is for this reason that all the stuff don't work.

and it's strange because last week i was going home and I started feeling a burning smell. I turned off the car and the next day the headlights and the left low beam were no longer lit.
