More good videos - all you need are subtitles for us Southerners!:) You'll need a fillet in the lower dash rail for the smaller switch panel and I forgot to fill the holes at either end of the upper dash rail where the foam dash cover was bolted on - unless you're going to use a heated front screen in which case you may want to leave one reduced in size for the wires? Keep up the good work.

Have you looked at gazwad (I think) on 16v minis, he has a K series powered mini that he converted a later shell to close to mk1 spec

Morning everyone

We’ve been working hard on the mini, we managed to get the rear quarter panel off and the new Mk1 quarter shaped up and clamped in place, we haven’t welded it on yet as these quite a bit of little repairs and fab work needed to be done behind the quarter, plus it will. Make it easier creating the Mk1 b pillar with the quarter panel off. Here’s the video of the work we’ve been doings so fare.

Cheers
Mark.

Evening all

Thanks guy

I had a look at the gazwad build on the 16v minis forum, that’s a interesting build the guy has done a good bit of work to it and it looks good. He’s only fitted the external hinges onto the Mk4 door, I’m wanting to do a complete Mk1 door conversion.

I have an update on a bit that people have been waiting in anticipation to see or at least some have lol, quite an important part of making my own Mk1 b pillar and how we’ve gone about doing it and what we used, here goes.

Cheers

I’ve been watching your vids on YouTube, and just found your build on here. Following with interest as doing the same sort of conversion on my clubby estate but going about it differently.
Keep the videos coming ??
