Al,
You will spend a small fortune buying the LEDs from Maplin. I suggest you search around and if you can wait then buy them from HongKong as they are pennies instead of the pounds that Maplin and such charge

dont know if you have seen the mod they do to the standard gear linkager that means you only need a simple round hole in the bulkhead rather than cutting the big square hole

Make sure you can get enough movement from the gear change to select all 5/6 gears. It was a mod I wanted to do with the mini gear change but could get enough sideways movement from it. Your progress looks good though.
Also Im sure the lights have to be E marked to be legal. Something along those lines anyway.

Mutley has his very own private garage now and only a metre from the house - lucky boy. However not much progress has been made on the actually shell - need to buy a headlining, so then the windows can go in and so on and so forth.
Progress has been made on the electronics/electrics, a few pictures to wet you appetite.
Oh, first here is an outdoor picture before he got moved!

Quick (and long overdue) update:
Front subframe is complete, hubs are built (4-pot vented brakes). Rear beam and swing-arms are also fitted.
With a bit of luck, in the next month he'll be back on four wheels for the first time in years.
