Fitted this little chap
Fitted new side lenses
Time to give this car its face back
Stainless rivnuts M5 and stainless fixings
Enlarged the hole with a 7 mm drill bit
Touched up the holes with paint
In with the rivnuts
Same for the other side
Time for some eyes 👀
Sorted
Just need the bulbs now Im using Osram night breakers when they arrive
Got this from smifys bits wasnt cheap but hey ho
Bit of trimming but fits well looks stock now 👍🏻
Time to give her some back legs
Took me an age to get this together had a right game getting the nuckle into the end of the trumpet
While I was under the car I fitted the exhaust rubber hangers
Got to finish this side tomorrow
More tomorrow

looks great, bulkhead sound deadening fits well. Smifys bits always do...
Since you fitted the rivnuts around the headlights after the shell was was painted, it might be an idea to put some butyl sealer around them since this is an area that's prone to rust

Looking very smart - it's great when you're bolting on new/restored parts to a shiny shell

Its back on its wheels after many years 😁
First job today was to finish the passenger side rear suspension
Finally got it off this
Almost there
Fitted the new battery cable
Out of the garage on her own wheels
Feels good to have a rolling shell
I forgot how easy they are to push around at this stage 😆 it looks like a little monster truck
Ive finally been able to tidy up the garage so nice and organised now
Got a week off work so Im going to do as much as poss this week weather permitting
Cheers
