Yeah you have to watch it. Only 12 hours of awesomeness! I've been trying to get motivation to marathon parks and rec, just need to make time for it :)

The new mini problem - lights won't turn off with the switch sometimes...

Someone recommended that I watch a show called Peaky Blinders. Is it any good?

Actually we've done that before, cause our uni in basically on a mountain face. Though my mate borrowed me a battery charger which I hooked up and left overnight.

Just found out a friend has been washing his cars with dishwashing liquid for years... sigh

Yeah if the paintwork is crap then I guess there isn't any benefit. I've seen some badly faded paintwork come back to life with some of these products. That said they were classic cars. So there was a need to try and save the paint

There's no way in hell the paintwork on my metro will ever be recoverable so I just wash it like a lazy sod with a sponge and some soapy water or go to the car wash up the road which has a soap dispensing pressure washer brush thing haha

A productive weekend. Got a good amount of work stuff done + sorted out the mini's brakes (so no more squealing) and gave it a good wash and detail :)

Hahaha... though as you know I was talking about the document tool... which really sucks sometimes, especially when you can't find the right bit of code to do something :(

Whenever I hear that people I studied with are working and doing well and I are still studying, I start to feel bad about my life choices

Steve, There is an MEng as well as an MSc(Eng) and honestly I am not sure of the difference, except that maybe an MSc has a bigger dissertation. I actually decided to do an MSc so that I could do the cool FEA and Continuum mechanics courses. I've actually met a few people who came back from industry to do masters at uni, since they had a sense of which parts of industry they liked.
MiniNoobjhb (a name would help :P) yeah a lot of people say that a masters helps in terms of career pro...

...progression, though at the moment it just seems like they are significantly better off. Don't all accountants have to write SAICA board exams before/while working?
May 02 2015 05:27 PM -
MiniNoobJhb
Ja I feel the same. Nope normal accountants only need to write a SAIPA exam (professional accountant) and they can start working. SAICA exams are apparently a whole different kettle of fish, I'm writing the 1st one in Jan... Not sure I'll be alive after that.
