Community Status Updates

Great. Didn't buy an IMM ticket as have a long-standing arrangement with a Client flying in from abroad for this weekend. They've just called to say they were on Malaysian Airlines and have cancelled their flight and can't re-arrange for this week. I want to kill someone.

Since I had my car accident last year, I have been inundated with calls to claim compo. I don't want to, I didn't suffer any injuries and the other driver admitted full liability. In the past week I have spoken to them 4 times and each time I have drawn out the conversation and really played about with them and then told them I'm not interested. Liam at Total Claims Direct a very unhappy little ambulance chaser this morning :-)

Took 6 year old niece to see "Pudsey the Dog - The Movie". God it was the most painfully bad 90 minutes of cinema ever. Felt like crying.

Did my wedding car duty with the Moggy. Dropped off the bride and groom. About 2 miles from home and the heavens opened and the roof still down. I honestly have never driven a 1000 cc so bloody fast in my life!! I had a soaking wet head but the inside stayed remarkably dry.

Nervous/excited about tomorrow. The Moggy's going to be the wedding car for my friend. Just hope it behaves and I don't crash it ....!

Neighbour has spent the day banging around in the garden making a racket. They're now just about to sit on the patio and have a nice quiet supper in the sun. Time to fire up the rattly, smoke belching old Qualcast I think.

Was feeling all happy then Radiohead came on the radio playing "No Surprises" and now I feel a bit depressed.

My right arm is really, really tanned compared to my left now.

Why is it so hard to stick to 30 mph in a Mini??

Just got some petrol. Stood behind a guy. He turned to one side, put a knuckle to one nostril and then snorted the contents of the other right onto the floor in a big, putrid splat. I know it's a cultural thing but it's just disgustingly vile.

Thought I'd put a bi of air into my back tyre with a footpump. Few pumps and then the plastic valve stop on the pump pinged off, air howling out of the tyre, clip stuck to the valve. Managed to get it off. Now only 10psi in the tyre. Don't buy an AA Essentials pump. It's c**p.

Just found out the fuel sender unit in the Moggy is faulty. Nice day to be sat at the side of the road waiting for petrol to turn up though.

My daily driver is so gutless with the aircon on full. Had a job getting in front of some old dude in a Micra just now.

Got myself all wedged between the headrest and seat earlier trying to open the back window. Bit embarrassing in Sainsbury's petrol station.

I'm depressed reading about our non-stop killing of just about every animal that moves on this planet. I need to do more than just donate to animal charities every month. What to do ...
