Just bought some petrol at 2.00 am. Went up to the night pay. No-one inside. Waited for about a minute. Looked back at my car and when I turned back a massive fat woman was suddenly stood there. Made me jump and I went "AHH!". Said she'd been bending down but I swear she was hiding on purpose.

I've got a spider hiding in my wing mirror. Every morning a huge web.

I had a mahoosive spider above my head in the car yesterday. My other half calmly asked me to pull over before telling me. She was hlding out a tissue as she was telling me. SPLAT

Went to Maplins earlier. Jag parked outside in the disabled bay - not displaying a blue badge. The car keys and a whole load of others were just sitting on the boot. No-one around. Guess what I did?

-
Ben_O
Was there a nearby drain?

Noooo :-). I went back to my car and sat there with the keys. Waiting. After 10 minutes, I watched them close up Maplins and Staples. Jag owner still hadn't come back. So I waited until Staples went dark and then posted the keys through their letterbox and left a note on the Jag windscreen telling them that was where the keys were. Honesty and major inconvenience at the same time. He he he

Just finished Rivethead by Ben Hamper. Again. An old book but if you want a good read about what it was like to work on the Michigan production lines, you'll enjoy it.

Why are silver cars so popular? You can't get a decent shine on them.

Nope. An 02 Renault Scenic

I have never seen a carpet the colour of the one in this hotel room. Sort of a cross between slime green and vomit yellow.

-
Ben_O
Ah, pictures? I am a carpet connoisseur and have a vast collection. I am always after additions to my collection. I only have 273 different carpets in that sort of colour.

5am start to Warrington in the morning. Yawn. Is there anything interesting to see up there? Have a few hours free tomorrow afternoon.

Hmmm. I'm guessing that's likely to be heaving with screaming kids and a total nightmare ... :-)

I think I'll miss the little paper tax disc on the windscreen. Shall have to think of something to put in my little Cooper holder instead.

Pingu
Some clubs are making their own little disc. I'm just going to print a pic of pingu and put in there.

3 cars washed, Super Resin Polished and Extra Gloss protected. 8 hours! It will now rain for a month.

Sounds ok. I've never owned a Pug but, for £200, you can't really argue. And there will always be a 17 year old waiting to take it off your hands :-)

That's what i am counting on. MOT is due end of next month so it will go through a new one and be sold and replaced with a nice big Diesel estate car :-)

Bravo! Managed to wash 3 on Saturday, but didn't get as far as the Super Resin - annoyingly, as it's pouring down today. Only the poor old Saab stuck out in it though, bless her :)

Bit nippy out there tonight. Didn't stop the auxilliary fan cutting in though so I drove up in a howling racket. Sorry neighbours.
