Just been in one of those car parks where your tyres squeal really loud. Few circuits :-)

Sat in traffic this morning. Not moving. Looked at the clock on the dash and, as I did, the card with the digits on inside just sort of flopped forward. Now the hands are scraping it around. So annoying. Guessing I'm going to have to take the whole dash off just to sort this stupid, irritating thing!!

Can't believe how much I've just spent on a small piece of bent metal and a bit of rubber. Mini parts never used to be this expensive!

A rear fog lamp bracket (£8.50) and one side sill trim (£18.50). Have been told to buy genuine on that because the aftermarkets can be poor. But, still, £18.50, and that's just one side!! (grumble, grumble).

MetOffice weather forecast this morning said it should be raining here by now. It isn't. The forecast now says sunny. That's not really forecasting is it? Just looking out of the window ...

Getting annoyed by the amount of junk mail Royal Mail are delivering now. 1 personal item and the rest is Dominoes, insurance, Specsavers .. loads of it!

Strawberries and Steam Fair today. Lots of those miniature steam engines there. I asked a bloke what they were used for and he said "nothing". Just a toy apparently. Seemed like a waste of coal to me. It could at least power something?

Ha! I asked a similar question here at a country fair last year...and got about the same response. Owner wasn't very pleased with my question.

Just all seemed a bit ... irrelevant really ... I know it's a hobby but I just couldn't see the attraction (unless you like squatting on them and trundling around at about 1.5 miles an hour). Just seemed like loads of work and effort just to make a little wheel go round and some rods to go back and forth.

Spiders will be as big as classic minis soon and wear doc martins. Next time you go to get a glass from the kitchen it will be waiting for you when you come back in. 'You brought a glass to a spider fight'
    Makes you think though.

Faith in human nature restored today. Had a bit of a roadside emergency and 3 cars stopped to help (and they all got soaked in the process). Some nice people out there.

I broke down on my old motorbike a while back due to fuel blockage in the carb and had multiple people stop, and even one person emptied a jerry can of petrol into the tank to see if that would help

I see I've got another email "summons" for me to appear in Court. In case anyone gets these and aren't aware, they are spam and opening the attachments will release a nasty virus. Courts never send a summons by email.
