my old 850 passed with them, advisory on it but not fail, car had hoops for lock down but seats were not

I used to hate people bringing their cars for MOT tests with borrowed parts on them. There was one guy that brought his Escort for test and bragged that he'd borrowed the wheels for the MOT. He'd done it because all 4 of his tyres were bald. He still had his wheels in the boot and was going to swap them on the way home! So bloody cheeky.

I got volunteered to do Movember at work. Need to learn how to grow a moustache. I can manage side burns so hopefully the transition shouldn't be too hard.

hey guys. ive just purchased my first car. its a mini Austin e reg. With 34k miles. its got quite a lot of rust and my passenger seat gets a puddle. .. aby suggestions how to fix it. welding or something? thanks:)

To find leak, spread talcum powder all over interior where it's wet and wash the car over with a hose pipe. It will reveal the path to the leak. And rust requires welding yup. either get a bodyshop to do it or you can give it a go yourself but sometimes it's best left to the pros :)

Do you mean the passenger footwell rather than the seat? If it's the seat, I'd be having a word with whoever last sat in it.

Don't rip! Be careful .... You might have a ghost underneath. Part of mine came away and I realised just how not white the exposed roof was anymore after 17 years!
