eBay must be a breading ground for idiots. Had an advert up for a vehicle I am breaking. The advert clearly states this and says that you are bidding on a random bolt. Some muppet thought he was getting the car and is now arguing with me through ebay as I won't sell it to him at 99p

Ben_O. Its because of the amount of stuff I sell through ebay. I currently have 166 listings on ebay.

Robminibcy. I meant the car. He can come and collect the bolt if he wants, but I'm not shipping it as he now is claiming I advertised (I didn't) and I'm not refunding him due to being charged for the advert.

The guy is clearly a tool. Ignorance is not an excuse for his laziness.

Please can someone value my Mayfair in the valuations section? That part of the forum seems a bit dead... Thanks! :)

Should ask my work to send my wages to Mini Spares, and cut out the middle man. LMAO! :)

:) Don't think I would like to work with minis to be honest. I would rather keep my hobbies and work live separate, if possible. Some days I would rather have a desk job, but it would bug me sitting on a computer all day, 5-6 days a week. I do also enjoy the majority of my work.

Working as a mechanic by trade, I can honestly say I'd rather it just be a hobby, it does take the enjoyment out of working on the mini. Not that I'd change anything, just my two pence lol

I don't know. I still enjoy working on the mini at home, but can't be bothered fixing other peoples cars sometimes. Rather just service, and chuck it out. :/ Hopefully be a MOT tester in 2 years time. I would rather do that all day.

I really need to stop looking at engine swaps. I keep looking at Renault/PSA 3.0 V6 engines to fit into my megane after the timing belt went two weeks ago. I currently own 5 cars all in various states of modification

What about the 2.0 Turbo from the 225 or R26.
I've got a Megane R26 F1 and that thing shifts!

I was looking at an engineless r32 last night and the straight 6 diesel engine from a Nissan Patrol. Hmmm... Diesel, Skyline. That should p*** a few people off.
