I dont drive that fast anyway but it will be nice to have it in reserve..the 200 still has some niggles but to be expected after being laid up for 7years..ill chip away at it, being very lazy atm. Id love to drop a 1.8 vvc into it.
Ive put a thread in the other projects section for the ZS. Only one rubbish pic atm

Yea ive tried all the local industrial estates and the cheapest is about 250 but thats flat rate wihout vat and electric. Im going to have to drive round and search i think

I kept trying and gave it some shock and used fome more strength...it for one of the front seats in my rover so has a captive nut...i bet you cant guess whats happened to the nut lol...damn things snapped off...i give up

laying under the mini refitting the gear shifter in the rain is not my idea of fun, might have a shower or head off down the pool later to dry off, as its not like I can get any more soaked

this wasnt a daily driver car thankfully so ill just do it another day...i once changed my front cones in the rain...your body soon numbs..i curse anyone with a workshop

Steering is pretty vague...its noisy, bouncy, cramped, gearbox is near impossible to use, for me anyway lol, but i couldnt stop smiling even though i could barely drive the thing :P Im pretty tempted!!

The dip on the engine bay crossmember is smaller, which is a good giveaway. It'll have drip rails, different gutter corners, hole in the rear seat, round tunnel with the mk1 style starter hump, ashtrays in the rear bins and so forth. If it has all these, its probably genuine.

It had most of the main stuff...been off the toad since '86...very honest little car but has had some not very good repairs...i wanted to do bare minimum and use it...still tempted but what would you pay? It is missing a rear valance...definately needs a doorstep and loeer quarter...sills seem solid but have no vents and dont look like oversills that i have ever seen? Perhaps home made jobbies?

Nothing to do with the metro :p, stupid crap phone cant handle a bit of condensation or rain drops it seems. I cant think when it got wet.

The PCB in your phone is made up of many layers , liquid will get inside the layers and corrode

It has got into the very centre of the motherboard, even behind another 'extra' board that does the wireless charging thing. That one is fine but the motherboard behind it has got damaged? Both water indicators are undisturbed also. Very annoying. Its made by LG, i never did like LG things
