i have a Stebel nautilus in the scamp, at 139db its great for when someone is looking closely into your engine bay. teeheehee :- .

its also gets the attention of lorry drivers as they try to pull into your lane cause they cant see you ;) .

i tried the other tune type ones but the Stebel nautilus is the dogs danglies.

quick note when looking to buy one, the Stebel nautilus compact has a different tone to the standard Stebel nautilus. http://www.stebel.it...l/index2009.htm

ok, so assumeing that this is the compact - Linky

Where can i get the full sized one, BP3 or Harmonised as they call them, in the UK?

Cheers,

Chris

I've got landrover discovery twin horns, believe their the same as rover 200's, 400's etc. loud and not a bad sound either (& very cheap)

I can vouch for that, my mates rover 400 has a beasty horn on it.

I have an AWOOOOOOOOGAAAA horn for when mines finally finished.

My fella had an animal one in Pork Pie but on the way to newquay 2 years ago it shorted due to the seat bein put on the wires.

Mines a bit honk if your horny.

Twin air horns (two tone standard horn)

Dixie horns (across engine front)

Posted Image

To go in....
Claxon (as it has to be done)
Lorry horns (In case of an emergency)
Megaphone (to tell people to get out of the way)

But shush!!! Don't tell the Rossers!

Well it's gotta make a lasting impression while its over in France!

i dont think its fishy, its the compressor that costs all the money, not the horn its self, and that doesnt include the compressor.
and i never was one for trusting ebay.
could be wrong tho, but it does look pretty legitamit.

i got mine off fleabay as it was approx £10 cheaper than halfords at the time

http://cgi.ebay.co.u...n...A1|240:1318

the difference to the naked eye is that the compact vents are at 90' to the unit and the standard one is straight on. see below compact is on the left and standard is on the right
