I have these cheeky little horns. They came from the local breakers - both high and low tone from some big bmw saloon - with all 3 working i can be heard on the motorway now.

well I'd love a Dixie, but as wonderful as they are, they no good when some er you off! And the same goes for most of the original mini horns.

Might get a Klaxon, got a mate who got his for about £22 and said his were so easy to fit!!

i have standared bull horn and the la ceratcha but need to fit the bull hon and la creatcha thinking of under rear subframe lol

Iv got a 8 tune horn, La cucaracha air horns, a Klaxon air horn and the standard horn lol.

Im 99% sure air horns that play tunes wont pass an MOT if its the main horn, so thats why i kept the standard horn lol.

But if im ever cut up the Klaxon gets there attention prety quickly, followed by a few hand gestures!!!

It's got a seperate button to the standard horn so we can use both.

i've got dual 150 psi truck horns tucked under the bonnet! works with 6 gallon air tank and electric compressor.
scares the shiznit outta errant drivers and unsuspecting pedestrians, (insert evil grin here)

How do you get truck horns to work in a mini then? They run on 24v dont they?
