lmao maybe. il look into it :(

Im gettin a bit of money soon so i want to decide what to do ;

i.e wht engine mods can get me 90bhp >_<

Pfff, can't say I really know mate, my mate, 1275 SPRITE had a 1293 with stafe 4 head at 88bhp, so maybe quite a few engine mods, but maybe the answer is save up, then spend, spend, spend, but I know its hard to do that when you have a mini lol.

Well yet again, not going to get much done today as I have to do my college work :w00t: , but hoping to get most of it done, so I don't have to do much over the weekend :) . And then I can get some more bits done, also forgot to mention, that I got the '1380 builder' DVD through the post yesterday, so that will help when it comes to the engine rebuild  . And I also get paid tomorrow :dontgetit: , so will have lots of pennies :dontgetit: , so will be able to get more done.

Cool the projects looking good. I really like that dash, wouldn't mind something like that for mine. I need to make a plate to keep all the wires up inside the dash and your wooden one has inspired me to make something similar. Supercharged engine sounds the business mate!

Yer mine had cardboard before, and it started to sag, and everything kept dropping out, lost my Ipod behind there for about 5 months lol, and only found it when I took the dash out lol. But should all turn out good in the end :) .

Just read through the whole thread, Man you have some bad luck at times!! :ermm:

Nice to see things going in the right direction now though, did you ever manage to get the sheered nipples out of your 4 pots?
good luck with it
I'll keep an eye on it.

Paul.

Right, well did a little on the mini today, got the silicone heater hoses in:

But they seem to kink really easily  , so might have to buy some proper ones from Minisport, or somewhere  .

Also filled in some of the little holes that seem to be dotted around, and hopefully that will stop some of the water getting in :techsupport: :

Then also started on the passenger door:

Its slow work, but getting there :P .

Hopefully more work tomorrow  .

Not much done really, went over to 1275 SPRITE's yesterday to help him do his mini, check out his project thread for the low down ;) .

Anyway we started off by going over to Morspeed to check about my supercharger, and its very good news :dontgetit: . It will be ready for Tuesday, and James (1275 SPRITE) will pop over and pick it up for me as he works close to it, and he is so awesome :o .

Anway the money left to pay was £578, and I had already paid £400 cash last year, so VAT was taken off, and I asked him what his best price was and he said £500, so I asked £475, and after some gantle persuading, he said yes :) , so I have got a brand new supercharger kit for £875 :P , I think that is pretty good. Also got the tensioner and decompression plate off James, which he picked up for me a few months ago:

Then went back to his, then went back into town and I got a new in line fuse holder for the n*ckered one:

Posted Image

Then we went back to his and started on his mini, and as we were stripping it out, came across a few things he didn't want, so I had them  :

Posted Image

A nice looking dip stick and one of those things that goes on your grill that brings cool air to your carb, even though mine will be at the front now :P , so might fine another use for it  .

Thats really it so far, might go out a do a bit on mine in a bit, but will see.

Been doing a bit of research to see if I got a good price on the supercharger:

Ebay: £560.01 (4 days left, not complete and used)
Jonspeed: £1195
Mini Speed: £1350

Or buy it seperate:

Supercharger: £360
Inlet Manifold: £140
Link Pipe: £140
Decompression Plate: £40
Air Filter: £37
Carb Rebuild kit: £20

All that comes to £737, and that is without pullys, belt, modifing the supercharger, longer throttle and choke cables and all the gaskets.

So I think £875 for a brand new one is really good  .

Been thinking, I might get a boot lining kit off bert998, the whole shazam, they look really good, and would save me making one and making a mess of it  .

I totally forgot to say, James but a really big idea in my head yesterday as we were stripping out his mini, get the back seat out, get some nice harnesses in, and a rear roll cage, and how cool would that look :dontgetit: , the only problem is though, I tend to take two other lad to college and work, so can't really do it  , maybe in my next mini though.

Makes it a bit safer now, as the old one was a bit bodged up  .

Also been thinking, and I want to get that carbon fibre cooper bonnet off Carbon Weezel :D : LINK

But that would mean getting a MK1 grill and that, so not sure :D , but what ever I need a new bonnet as mine isn't in good condition.
